Will Patralekhaa join Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor’s horror comedy? Actress opens up
Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, has turned out to be the biggest and most successful Hindi movie in Bollywood. Directed by Amar Kaushik, it released in theatres on August 15 and is still doing wonders at the box office. The horror comedy is a sequel to the 2018 Stree and also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. Now that the sequel is also a huge hit, fans are awaiting an update on Stree 3.
If you have watched the movie, you know that Stree 2 leaves us with some questions that need to be addressed. The good news is Dinesh Vijan and Stars have already confirmed that they are planning a third installment and already have a story ready. But what if another actress is asked to join the threequel? What if Rajkummar Rao’s real-life ladylove, his wife, and actress Patralekhaa get a role in Stree 3? Well, the actress was asked about the same and keep reading further to know what she said.
In an interaction with the entertainment news platform Filmgyan, Patralekhaa was asked if she would do Stree 3 with Rajkummar Rao. The Citylights actress straightaway said that she would not join the horror-comedy franchise as there’s already Shraddha Kapoor in it. The actress praised the cast, including Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana. She said that the world of Stree is set already.
Well, that’s an honest answer. But we would love to see Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa again on the big screensome day. The actress is currently enjoying the appreciation coming her way for her performance in the Netflix series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack. It also stars Vijay Varma, Naseeruddin Shah, Dia Mirza, Pankaj Kapur, and others.

Meanwhile, Star 2 also featured special appearances by actors Akshay Kumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Varun Dhawan. The post-credit scene featuring Akshay has startled the audience and many fans are coming up with interesting theories on his characters. As per the latest reports, the horror-comedy earned Rs 586 crores approximately at the Indian box office. The movie smashed Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan records in Hindi language.
