The current plot of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai shocked fans with Rohit and Shivani’s tragic deaths in an accident during the Gangaur festival.
Now, the makers of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai released a promo featuring Rohit asking Armaan to fulfill his last wish before breathing his last. The promo begins with the Gangohar festival celebrations, where Abhira and Armaan thank Ruhi for being their surrogate. She places her hand on Ruhi’s stomach and thanks her for taking on the responsibility of bringing their child into the world. Armaan also feels overwhelmed with emotions and appreciates Ruhi’s role in bringing happiness to their lives.
But, their happy moment takes a drastic turn when Armaan receives a shocking phone call and his shocking expression leaves Abhira and Ruhi devastated. He then shared the news with Abhira and Ruhi and left them in tears. The next scene showcases a funeral which confirms Rohit’s passing. His photo frame which is adorned with a garland signifies the loss that the family is going through.
Ruhi is seen holding a newborn baby. Abhira and Armaan stand on either side and offer support in mourning. A flashback reveals Rohit’s final moments, wherein he tells Armaan to make a promise to take responsibility for Ruhi and Daksh after his death.

The storyline of the show showcases Rohit and Shivani’s tragic fate. In the upcoming episode, a massive explosion during the Gangaur festival will turn celebration into chaos. Abhira and Dadisa are left in shock as a gas cylinder bursts. Amidst the panic, Abhira searches for Armaan and gets to know that he is missing. Armaan, Ruhi, Rohit, and Shivani find themselves trapped in the fire. Armaan decides to save Ruhi. Armaan, Rohit, and Shivani are hospitalized. Rohit and Shivani succumb to their injuries. The actors bid adieu to the show. What will happen next? Will Armaan part ways from Abhira as he will try to fulfill his promise of taking care of Ruhi and the baby? Will Abhira once again be alone in her life?
