What happens at Shah Rukh Khan’s parties? DJ Aqeel shares exciting scoop, ‘Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan would…’
We all wish to be a fly on the wall of every Bollywood party, don’t we? But one actor whose parties people would definitely do anything to attend is Shah Rukh Khan. While the number of parties he hosts at his residence has drastically gone down, there was a time when Mannat would see a galore of celebrities marking their attendance for exciting bashes. So what exactly would happen at SRK’s parties? We finally got some exciting details.
DJ Aqeel would often get hired by many top celebrities to handle the music department. In an interview, the DJ has revealed what the scenario used to be at Shah Rukh Khan’s house parties. Aqeel said, “I have played at Shah Rukh Khan’s house a hundred times. In those parties, Shah Rukh, Salman Khan, and Hrithik Roshan would be in corners in their own groups. If I played one actor’s song, the other would feel bad. So, I would make sure I would play all their songs so that everybody is happy.”
The renowned DJ further revealed how actors would notice and signal why he didn’t play their songs. “I used to sense this just by looking at them. Then eventually they would come to the floor and let go and dance. At the beginning of the party, they would be standing in corners with their own groups,” shared the DJ.
Further in this interview with Siddharth Kannan, DJ Aqeel revealed that the food and alcohol at SRK’s party was great and he is an amazing host. “Everything was amazing; attendance was 100 out of 100. Everybody was there. People used to look forward to his parties. They would travel from abroad, out of town, to be there. He used to have parties every 2-3 months. I would get 30K-40K to play per night at Shah Rukh’s parties,” shared the DJ.
