Heeramandi: Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a maverick filmmaker who has been the mastermind behind many masterpiece films like Devdas, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Black, and others. His last project was the Netflix drama series Heeramandi. He will next start shooting for his upcoming film Love and War, featuring Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, and Ranbir Kapoor. One of his most awaited projects was his film Inshallah, which was supposed to feature Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. However, the movie never saw the light of the day. It is stated that both Sanjay and Salman were keen to collaborate for the film; however, due to their alleged fallout, the film was shelved. Rumors were also rife that Salman and Sanjay are no more in talking terms and will never work with each other. However, you would be surprised to know that all is well between Salman and Sanjay, and in fact, the actor even calls the director frequently to ask about his health. Sanjay Leela Bhansali reveals he shares the closest bond with Salman Khan

In an interview with Galatta Plus, Sanjay Leela Bhansali mentioned that he loves all his actors and the beautiful characters he has created for them. But somehow, he hasn’t been able to be friends with his actors except for one. He stated that Salman Khan is his only actor who he is in touch with and even shares a good bond. Bhansali further states that they may have had fallouts on a film set, but that hasn’t affected their bond. Even after having fallouts, the actor has called the director after a month, and they have talked things out. Bhansali said that more than the films, Salman is worried about him, and hence, once every three to five months, the actor will call and ask if he needs anything and if he is doing okay. Bhansali calls Salman a friend and how their bond goes beyond films.
