Were Rupali Ganguly, Rajan Shahi mentally affected after decline in TRPs? Shivam Khajuria reveals
Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa is in the news. The show has always been at the top of the TRP charts ever since it began. The started in 2020 and has been dominating the TRP charts. But since a few weeks, we saw the numbers dropped and Anupamaa came down to 3-4th position. This happened ever since the show took a leap. Post the leap, many actors like Gaurav Khanna, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Nidhi Shah and others left the show. We saw Shivam Khajuria and Alisha Parveen came in as the lead couple. However, Alisha was soon replaced overnight by Adrija Roy.
Did the low TRPs of Anupamaa affect Rupali Ganguly and Rajan Shahi?
The new story was not getting good numbers but this week, we saw slight increase in the TRPs of Anupamaa. Shivam Khajuria who plays the role of Prem spoke about the decline in TRPs. He spoke to Siddharth Kannan and was asked if the low numbers affected Rupali and Rajan Shahi mentally.
He said that he never spoke about this to them mentally but he knows Rajan Shahi is smart enough to manage this low phase. He shared that Rajan Shahi has seen many low and high points in his life. He added that the producer never blamed them for the low numbers and always appreciated everyone for their work. Shivam shared that Rajan Shahi has told everyone directly if there are issues in performance but he has asked the actors not to take pressure of the TRPs.
He then spoke about Rupali Ganguly and said that she has been a queen of television and maybe she might have been affected by the low numbers but he said that they have shared her responsibility now and they will take her and the show to the top again.
Talking about the serial, we recently saw more new entries in the show. Alka Kaushal, Zalak Desai, Rahil Azam and others have entered the show.
