Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor died on April 30, 2020. He died at the age of 67. As per reports, the actor was suffering from Leukaemia. Despite a long treatment in New York, Rishi Kapoor could not survive. He passed away amid Coronavirus and not many could attend his funeral. Daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni too could not reach on time to attend the funeral as she was in Delhi. The Kapoors did not speak much about Rishi Kapoor’s death and how they coped with it. In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni who appeared in New Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives Star, revealed how the Kapoors coped with the demise of Rishi Kapoor. She shared that they do not show emotions but all of them went into different rooms and cried. She was quoted saying, “When my dad passed away we never showed emotions to each other. We used to go to separate rooms and cry like take it all out and then come and then just be normal or act normal, but it has got us really close.” Ranbir Kapoor stood by his mother and sister in the tough time. In show New Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives Star, Neetu Kapoor also made an appearance. The mother-daughter duo on the show spoke about Rishi Kapoor’s demise. Neetu Kapoor shared how she wasn’t willing to work after husband’s demise as she was scared of getting trolled. She shared that she was pushed by her kids, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Sahni, to work again. She added that her kids pushed her to take the plunge and she appeared in shows and ads. However, now she has taken time to focus on herself. Neetu Kapoor revealed that she has taken a backseat this year to focus on her well-being. She also said, “If I stayed home and didn’t do anything, I’d go crazy. Today, I feel much better.
