Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover’s fight a few years ago was one of the biggest celebrity fallouts back then. The duo had made the audience laugh together for years. However, one day, on a flight, the duo got into a verbal spat that led to a rift and them not working together until 2024. Last year, Kapil and Sunil collaborated for Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show.
One might wonder if the fight led to any negative effects on their respective careers. Back then, there were reports that they had been facing issues with getting good shows/movies or how they were good only when they were together. However, these were all speculations and the reality is completely opposite. Their ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ co-star Rajiv Thakur also confirmed the same.
On Siddharth Kannan’s chat show, on being asked about Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover’s fight, Rajiv said, “Who doesn’t fight? If their fight was so serious, how are they still mingling and shooting together today? Money can make you work together, but if you observe the atmosphere on set, you’ll see they genuinely enjoy each other’s company.”
So did the duo face any losses in their respective careers after the fight? To this, Rajiv Thakur replied, “When Sunil wasn’t on the show, Kapil wasn’t facing losses, and vice versa. You can’t fake this camaraderie.” Now the rumours of them suffering in their careers after the fallout can be completely put to rest.
Coming to The Great Indian Kapil Show, the Netflix show has had two successful seasons. The stars who appeared on the comedy show are Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Kartik Aaryan, Rekha, and many others. Recently, the team confirmed that they will be back with the third season soon.
