Celebrity MasterChef is slowly inching close to its finale. The show hosted by Farah Khan and judged by Ranveer Brar, Vikas Khanna has now got its top five contestants. Reportedly, Gaurav Khanna, Nikki Tamboli, Faisal Shaikh, Tejasswi Prakash and Rajiv Adatia have made it to the top five. In a recent episode, we saw Gaurav Khanna being in danger zone. He along with Kabita Singh, Archana Gautam and Faisal Shaikh had to take the black apron challenge. This was after the judges praised Gaurav Khanna for the dessert he prepared.
When teamed up with Kabita Singh, Gaurav Khanna received major appreciation for the dessert he prepared that included a healthy granola bar. Chef Vikas Khanna was so impressed that he told Gaurav Khanna that he can leave Celebrity MasterChef if he wants to as he can make a business out of his granola bars. Gaurav Khanna smiled the hardest with this compliment. Of course, all his fans are happy for him. However, they are also upset because despite the appreciation, Gaurav Khanna was given the black apron. It was a team task and Gaurav, Kabita Singh were a team. While the dessert was much loved by the judges, the chicken dish made by the two did not impress the judges much in comparison to the dishes made by other contestants. They then made it to bottom four.
Fans came out in support of Gaurav. One of the comments read, “He got appreciation for his dessert but couldn’t get saved from black apron challenge and my heart hurts seeing this.” Another one wrote, “His dish is smiling just like him ? It is healthy and flavourful. It is instagram able. It can go in any restaurant as a healthy dessert. But still he is in black apron. Koi na we will assume this black colour as a kala tika for our hero.”

As per reports, it is Archana Gautam who got eliminated from Celebrity MasterChef in this black apron task. Usha Nadkarni cried a lot of over her elimination.
