Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna‘s period drama Chhaava remains unstoppable at the box office even in its second week. The film directed by Laxman Utekar released on February 14 and since then it has been going strong at the box office. Chhaava witnessed a natural dip in numbers over the weekdays but it has once again picked up pace from the second Saturday. In fact, the film has done fabulous business on day 9, almost on par, with its day 3 collection. Check out the box office report below. As reported by Sacnilk.com, Chhaava starring Vicky Kaushal in the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj made around Rs 45 crore on second Saturday, i.e., on day 9. These are the early estimates but the numbers are huge. The collection almost doubled from the film’s second Friday business. On day 8, Chhaava made around Rs 23.5 crore at the box office. It is for the second time in nine days that Chhaava’s business crossed the mark of Rs 40 crore on a single day. On first Sunday, i.e., day 3, the film made around Rs 48 crore at the box office. Now, the total collection of the film by the end of day 9 stands at around Rs 287.75 crore. It looks like Chhaava will easily cross the mark of Rs 300 crore by the end of second weekend. Chhaava has turned out to be the highest grossing movie of the year 2025 so far. It has surpassed the numbers made by big films like Sky Force, Deva, Fateh and many others. It is also the highest grossing film in Vicky’s career. He is winning a lot of accolades for his performance as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the movie. There is a demand to make Chhaava tax-free in Maharashtra. If that happens, the film’s box office collection will get another boost.
