Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava is making a powerful impact at the box office. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the historical period drama features actor Vicky as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. While the movie has received mixed reviews from critics, it has been successful in impressing the audience with its powerful script and equally compelling performances. The movie also features Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai and Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb. The movie has had a strong opening and marked its first major and massive success at the box office.
While the Vicky Kaushal starrer has been performing exceptionally well over the weekend, the real test came on Monday. We are pleased to inform our readers that Chhaava has passed the Monday test. On its fourth day, the Laxman Utekar-directed movie has earned Rs 24 crore at the box office. On the first three days, Vicky’s movie minted 31 crore, 37 crore, and 48.5 crore. The total box office collection of the movie is now Rs 140.50 crore.
As reported by Sacnilk, the Hindi occupancy of Chhaava on Monday was 31.62 percent. The morning shows had 17.80 percent, 27.11 percent in the afternoon and 34.12 percent in the evening. The highest occupancy was in Mumbai, which was 52 percent. Well, now that Chhaava’s box office collection is Rs 140.50 crore, it will easily cross Rs 150 crore at the box office. The Vicky-Rashmika starrer was made on a budget of Rs 130 crore and has easily surpassed the same and is all set to become a hit.
