Vicky Kaushal’s starrer Chhaava was released in theatres last week on February 14, 2025. Directed by Laxman Utekar, it also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles. Vicky plays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the movie. The movie has entered the 100 crore club and both Vicky and Rashmika have celebrated in their own way.
We have often seen actors portraying Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on screen. But for the first time, a mainstream actor has shown the bravery and battles his son Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj fought against Aurangzeb for the Marathas. The Laxman Utekar-directed movie touched many people’s hearts, leaving them with tears in their eyes.
Today, Vicky Kaushal shared a video in which a child is hailing Sambhaji Raje and he was left in tears towards the end of the movie. The video has made many people emotional to witness a young child being impacted by the historical drama. The actor reacted, “हमारी सबसे बड़ी कमाई! Proud of you, beta… wish I could give you a hug. Thank you everyone for your love and emotions. We wished for Shambhu Raaje’s story to reach every household in the world… and to see that happening is our greatest victory.”
