Vaquar Shaikh reveals his character might return after leap; says ‘We even bring back dead in TV shows’
Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa is in the news. While everyone was waiting for Anu, Anuj’s reunion in the show, we saw a leap taking place and separating them forever. This was a huge shock for fans and people were disappointed. Post leap, we saw Anu is running an old age home while Anuj is depressed. He pays flute at a temple alone and has not kept any contact with Anu or anyone else. Everyone wanted a reunion and we also saw their families and friends wanting the same. Many things have changed post leap. Vaquar Shaikh who played the role of Yashdeep has left.

Vaquar Shaikh talks about his role ending in Anupamaa
He spoke to Telly Express about his role ending in Anupamaa. He said that the story of Yashdeep has been left open ended and it is said that in TV they can even bring back the dead. He said that he would return to the show if producer Rajan Shahi wants him to.
He further said that he is happy that the makers stayed true to their promise to him and his character got extended for seven months. He shared that the America track and his character got all the love from the audience and he is happy that he was able to pull off the character successfully.
He also shared that fans were having hopes about Yashdeep and Anupamaa but his character was never meant to have a romantic angle with Anu. He shared that he is grateful to Rajan Shahi for giving him this character. He added that there was trolling for Yashdeep because he was coming in between Anu-Anuj but people also understood that Yashdeep is an honest friend and he admitted his feelings for Anu.

Vaquar Shaikh shared that even after Yashdeep’s confession, his equation with Anu did not change. He believes that Yashdeep was like a fresh air in that setting.
