Urvashi Rautela’s BOLD claim about Sanam Re cast left Yami Gautam, Pulkit Samrat…; netizens react, ‘Ye pehle se hi cracked…’ [Watch]

For the past few weeks, Urvashi Rautela has left netizens in splits with her unexpected statements. She has clearly emerged as the first celebrity to claim the ‘first person’ title in the film industry for just about anything and everything. It all started with her mention of Daaku Maharaaj, but the internet is digging up more interviews where she has made similar statements. One such interview dates back to 2016, during the promotional campaign of Sanam Re.
In one of the interviews, Urvashi Rautela was joined by Sanam Re co-stars Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat. In the interview, Urvashi said, “I was the first one to join the cast. That time the cast wasn’t decided, who is going to play what.” To this, Yami instantly reacted, “That’s what was told to everybody. We all were on board.”
Rautela further said that she signed the film in August 2014. To this, Pulkit reacted, “Mujhse wo puch rahe the, ye kaisi hai, ye kaisi hai.” Urvashi then continued, “So maybe she (Divya Khosla Kumar) kept it under wraps or whatever. So yeah, I signed that time. That’s how it started. A lot of people believe that I got it because of ‘Love Dose’, the song with Yo Yo Honey Singh, the international music video.”
The video has gone viral on Reddit and the reactions are hilarious. One person wrote, “i guess delusion helps to get by in this industry full of b*tchy and condescending folks.” Another person commented, “Toh ye pehle se hi cracked hai ? mujhe laga abhi kuch hua hai.” Another Redditor posted, “We get it she is FIRST in everything and everywhere.” “This was so hard to watch? muzhe second hand embarrassment hogayi uske liye lol,” one person commented.
