The year 2024 hasn’t been that great for many Hindi movies. A select few, such as Shaitaan and Munjya, have achieved notable success at the box office. BollywoodLife spoke to Ulajh actors Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew and asked them if the box office pressure bothers them. Gulshan answered, “I keep myself as informed as possible from an academic level because I want to understand the business. It’s not easy, but I’m training myself to not put too much pressure on such things and just focus on being sincere, doing your job, and doing your best. You can’t really control everything.” Also Read – Janhvi Kapoor admitted to the hospital; actress was bedridden at home, was feeling very weak

The 8 Am Metro star added, “If a film makes 15 crores on its first day, it’s an impressive figure, but 35 lakhs is not an impressive figure? 35 lakh on 40 screens—that’s very good. People don’t understand the business. They just comment on the figures.” Also Read – Ulajh Trailer: Shikhar Pahariya, Arjun Kapoor, Raj Kumar Rao and more go gaga over and Janhvi Kapoor’s performance

Roshan Mathew, who has worked in Hindi movies like Choked and Darlings, said, “I try not to take too much pressure about numbers while acting, at least. I consciously put an effort into that because it’s important to go out and have fun.” He added, “When a film comes out and it doesn’t do well as we expected, that also hits you. Then you suffer for a bit. But you get up and go back to work.” About his upcoming thriller, Gulshan Devaiah added, “Having said that, if this (Ulajh) is a blockbuster, it’s welcomed.”
