THIS superstar’s daughter made her debut in Dharmendra’s film, movie flopped miserably, gave up acting and now….

Bollywood superstar Govinda‘s daughter Tina Ahuja tried her luck in films, but she could not get the fame and recognition that her father got. Tina’s debut film flopped badly at the box office and she gave up atcing. Tina recently spoke her heart out with a media portal and spoke about her acting career. Tina made her Bollywood debut in the year 2015 with the film ‘Second Hand Husband’. She was paired opposite Gippy Grewalo in the film. Veteran actor Dharmendra, Geeta Basra, Rati Agnihotri, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Vijay Raj and many other actors played pivotal roles in the film.
The comedy film proved to be a disaster at the box office and makers were unable to recover the loss. The film received a 3.6 rating at IMBd. After Tina’s film proved to be a disaster, she distanced herself from films.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, actress Tina spoke about nepotism and said, ‘To be honest, I moved on very quickly. Because after a point, it became very irritating to me when people said, ‘But you have an institute at home, why are you struggling outside’. It became so annoying after a point, why should I answer the same question again and again?’.
Tina took a break from acting and started assisting her father Govinda in his work. She continued saying, ‘I decided that I might as well start working with my dad and start doing things that I enjoy. If things have to happen, they’ll happen. I don’t need to run the house, by the grace of God. I actually started enjoying working with my father, and I didn’t even realise that I’d left a lot of things behind. I was like, ‘Chuck it, I don’t want to do this. I would like to do things that I want to be a part of’’.
Tina said that there were a lot of misconceptions about her in the industry. She concluded by saying, ‘I was open to doing look tests, but people thought that I’m a star-kid, I’m Govinda’s daughter, so I might not be open to doing look tests. I can’t help it if people want to cook up stories about me in their own head. I was open to look tests, I was open to screen tests. But it’s fine. You can’t be answering the same question to every casting person. So, I moved on.’
