Some actors leave a great impact with their performance, no matter the length of their roles. One such star is Kay Kay Menon, who has impressed the masses with his versatility and dedication. Born on October 2, 1966, in Kerala, Kay Kay grew up in Pune and also completed his education there. After finishing his MBA, he worked in advertising department for a cigarette company. However, life had some other plans for him as he decided to join theatre. From the day he acted on stage, he never looked back and eventually forayed into movies. Theatre Beginnings

The actor got his first big break in a play titled Mahatma vs Gandhi, in which he worked with Naseeruddin Shah. The actor considers Shah as his mentor and he even told the veteran star he’s reading to learn acting from him. Menon made debut in the film industry in the 1995 film titled Naseem. After Naseem, Kay Kay Menon has acted in many big movies like Black Friday, Gulaal, Life in a Metro, Main Meri Patni Aur Woh, Corporate, Sirf, Haider, Vodka Diaries and others. The actor also shared screenspace with Amitabh Bachchan in the movie Sarkar. Some of his celebrated films are Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai Meri Jaan, Gulaal, Shahid, The Ghazi Attack, and others mentioned previously.

OTT Ventures

After leaving a great impression with his outstanding performances in movies, Kay Kay Menon also ventured in the world of web series. In 2018, he made his OTT debut with the ALTBalaji series titled The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family. Since then, Menon has delivered phenomenal performances in shows like Special OPS, Ray, Farzi, Bambai Meri jaan, The Railway Men, Shekhar Home, etc. Menon was widely praised for his impeccable acting in Netflix series The Railway Men. It released last year and also stars Babil Khan, R Madhavan, Divyenndu and Juhi Chawla.

The actor is all set to star in Citadel: Honey Bunny, the Indian version of American show Citadel. He will share screenspace with actors Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
