We are talking about a movie that earned much more than its budget. It was Vivaah starring Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao in the lead roles. The film was made on a budget of Rs 8 crore but it earned six times more than its budget. As per Sacnilk, it earned around Rs 50 crores.

This turned out to be a huge success for the film. The movie released in 2006 when Shahid had just entered the industry and was establishing himself as an actor. Amrita was also very new in the industry. The film was directed by Sooraj Barjatya and after the film’s success, it was included in the list of iconic films like Hum Aapke Hain Koun!, Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Maine Pyar Kiya, and more. This is a big story in entertainment news.

Apart from Shahid and Amrita, the movie also starred Alok Nath, Amrita Prakash, Anupam Kher, Sameer Soni, Manoj Joshi, and Lata Sabharwal. The story of the movie was about a girl Poonam who was an orphan. But her foster father gave her a lot of love.

She soon gets engaged to Prem but later, she suffers severe burns in an accident. But despite the burnt body, Prem accepts her as his wife. They both get married in the hospital ward itself. This beautiful love story touched the hearts of the audience.

The movie turned out to be a big hit. It also got Shahid and Amrita a lot of love and appreciation from the audience.
