The movie starred Jeetendra and it was Tohfa. Yes, the film ruled and we saw how much people still love that movie. It was directed by Kovelamudi Raghavendra and starred Jeetendra, Jaya Prada and Sridevi in lead roles. As per reports, the film’s budget was Rs 2 crores to Rs 4 crores. But surprisingly, the film collected Rs 13 crores which is a big success. If we compare it to 2024, the film crossed Rs 200 crores at that time. At that time, the net collection was around 40 crores from 9 crores. The film was a remake of the 1982 Telugu blockbuster film Devta.

The story was about two sisters who fell in love with the same guy and later one of the sisters sacrifices her love. Tohfa received three nominations at the 32nd Filmfare Awards. The categories were Best Comic Actor, Best Music and Best Lyrics.

This movie gave a lot of love and appreciation to Jeetendra. He was showered with praises for his performance.
