Popular television actor Rajesh Kumar who grabbed a lot of limelight with his role as Rosesh in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai managed to leave his fans shocked when he revealed in an interview that a couple of years back he had no work. Yes, the actor even revealed that he had taken to farming. Rajesh also said that he had applied for Shark Tank India to be a contestant on the business-based reality show.
The actor told YouTuber Siddharth Kannan that he had applied for Shark Tank India and had cleared two out of three rounds. He even said that he had to submit his videos. He thought that he might get a favour because he is a known face – an actor who is a social entrepreneur talking about agriculture. As per a report in entertainment news portal, the actor said that his presentation was in Kolkata and it was wrapped within a day and his father paid for the tickets. Rajesh also said that during those tough times his confidence was shaken and had never thought that he would ever get a role in a film without giving an audition.

He also spoke about how he signed Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Haddi and said that before he left for Shark Tank India, he got a call for Haddi, and they wanted to meet him. He went to meet the casting director at his office and he got to know that he is confirmed. Rajesh did not give any audition for his role in Haddi and said that the director had one request, if he could shave his head. Rajesh asked for one lakh extra and went bald. On the work front, Rajesh was seen in Haddi, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Rautu Ka Raaz, Binny And Family and more.
