This contestant released from Salman Khan’s show house after makers receive flak
It will be a week since Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 18 started airing. The show has been grabbing a lot of headlines ever since it started. The contestants this year include Vivian Dsena, Chaahat Pandey, Shehzada Dhami, Avinash Mishra, Chum Darang, Shilpa Shirodkar, Karanveer Mehra, and several others. However, this year, the makers brought a twist by adding an unexpected contestant inside the house—a donkey named Gadhraj.
During the premiere episode, Salman Khan introduced Gadhraj as one of the contestants who will be sent inside the Bigg Boss 18 house. While some found it hilarious, many expressed concerns. PETA slammed the makers for risking an animal’s life for entertainment. Now, the makers have reacted to the criticism and released Gadhraj from the house.
PETA took to social media to share the news with people. Their post reads, “We are pleased to inform you that the Bigg Boss team has updated us with the news that they have released the donkey. This success is a direct result of the collective efforts of everyone who supported and joined this cause. Thank you for standing with us and for showing that compassion and action can make a real difference.”
Further in this entertainment news, captioned the post, “Thanks to Smt. Maneka Sanjay Gandhi, Chairperson, People For Animals, for her intervention in this matter. This success was made possible through the collective efforts of everyone in the community who stood up for the donkey’s release. #RescueSuccess.” In the comments, several followers of PETA are rejoicing the release of the donkey from Bigg Boss 18.

Meanwhile, on October 12, Salman Khan cancelled the Bigg Boss 18 shoot after his friend and politician Baba Siddique was shot dead in Mumbai. Khan rushed to the Lilavati hospital, where the NCP leader was admitted. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang members have claimed the responsibility of the attack.
