The actress is Sheeba Akashdeep. Akshay and Sheeba dated each other when they met on the sets of their movie Mr. Bond in 1992. When asked if she dated the Hera Pheri actor, Sheeba gave a positive answer. She said, “When you are young and working in close proximity, ho jata hai ishq (you fall in love). Both fitness-crazy people… And family friends. My nani and his mom would play cards together.”
One might wonder what went wrong between them if they were so much in love together. To this, the actress answered, “We were both kids. I don’t even talk about it. I find it so funny. What’s there to talk about it? I don’t even remember much stuff from that time. It’s been over three decades.”
In the same interview, Akshay Kumar’s ex-girlfriend and actress Sheeba Akashdeep was asked if she believes one can be friends with their ex. To this, the actress said that it cannot happen when people are very young and emotional. According to Sheeba, as people are quite emotional, they struggle to be normal for a long time. “Young love is very passionate and powerful and it’s like an explosion. So when that explosion happens, it has to come down… Friendship doesn’t survive. There’s just too much invested in a relationship to be friends later. It just doesn’t happen, unless you are really mature,” the actress added.
