However, once Twinkle Khanna spoke to Divya Jain and opened up about how she took up acting because of family expectations. She said that she applied for CA entrance exam but her mother, Dimple Kapadia told her that this is the only time she can become an actress and CA can be done later.

But, due to her lack of interest in acting, her career was short-lived. Twinkle later confronted Dimple for forcing her into acting.

‘You would have become obsolete’

She shared, “You know, what the hell? You forced me into something. I could have had a successful career as a writer right from then. Then she responds something like, “‘Well, what would you have done now? You would have become obsolete.’”

Good parenting

Twinkle also spoke about parenting and said that parents should not impose their unfulfilled dreams on their children. She explained that one should look at the kid’s skills and interests.

She further said that the kids will shine and grow only when they are allowed to do what they want to. Twinkle was a part of popular films in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
