In a 2012 article by Rediff, journalist Ali Peter John revealed a Bollywood icon of the 1970s – Rajesh Khanna was offered Bigg Boss during a low point in his career. The late actor managed to make females go weak in the knees with his charming aura and personality. The megastar gave superhit movies like Namak Haram, Disco Dancer, Karm, and more. Still, Rajesh Khanna had to face a tough time in his life after working in the industry for decades. Well, reportedly he was approached to participate in the controversial show and makers had offered him Rs 3.5 crore per episode to be a part of this show. This is a big story in Entertainment News.

But, Rajesh Khanna declined the offer. The journalist also said that the makers of Salman Khan‘s Bigg Boss called him to fix a meeting with Rajesh Khanna. But, the actor said that he would not do such shows. The journalist revealed how he tried convincing the actor to do the show as the makers were ready to pay a huge amount. But, the actor was adamant about his decision and refused to be a part of the show. The journalist revealed that Rajesh Khanna reconsidered the opportunity to participate in Bigg Boss a few days later, but this time makers lost interest.
