Taapsee Pannu on doing different kind of movies and not being the highest paid actress, ‘Meri kitchen chal rahi hai’
Taapsee Pannu has two releases coming up this month: Khel Khel Mein and Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. Pannu is one of those few actresses who doesn’t want to do similar kinds of movies. In her career spanning a decade, she has featured in different kinds of stories. Taapsee has been a part of the thriller, romantic drama, comedies, sports drama, and even horror genres. In an interview, the Dunki star spoke about doing different kinds of movies and how being the highest-paid actress doesn’t bother her.

While talking to Fever FM, Taapsee Pannu was asked if she lost out on work due to doing different kinds of films instead of trying to fit into the industry’s expectations. The Pink actress said that she’s okay with it as it isn’t the end of life. She always believes that life is very limited. Pannu doesn’t want to live like anyone else, but just be herself.
Further, the Manmarziyaan star asked, What is the worst thing that can happen if she chooses her own path? She won’t become the highest-paid actress. Taapsee said that he has no interest in being one. The actress stated that the money she’s earning is for running her kitchen. Pannu read an article on Akshay Kumar and loved it. In the article, Akshay says how he feels like he’s a horse running a race at Mahalakshmi Racecourse. Taapsee said that she’s always number one in her life because she’s running her own race.
Talking about her upcoming movies, Khel Khel Mein is directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film also stars Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal, Ammy Virk, and Pragya Jaiswal. It will hit theatres on August 15, 2024, and will clash with Stree 2 and Vedaa. On the other hand, Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is a sequel to her 2021 film Haseen Dilruba. The romantic thriller also stars Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal. Directed by Jayprad Desai, the sequel will stream on Netflix from August 9 onwards.

Taapsee Pannu is also a part of an investigative comedy titled Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan. Directed by Arshad Syed, the film also stars Pratik Gandhi and Prateik Babbar.
