Sunita Ahuja BREAKS SILENCE on divorce rumours with Govinda; says ‘Kisi ki himmat hai…’
A few months ago, there were rumours suggesting that Govinda and Sunita Ahuja are headed for divorce after 37 years of being married. However, in a latest interview, Sunita Ahuja has set the record straight.
It was back in February 2025 that rumours of Govinda and Sunita Ahuja‘s divorce hit headlines. It was being reported that after 37 years of marriage, the couple has decided to part ways. A lot of speculations were being made even though Govinda and Sunita Ahuja had not confirmed any reports. Later, in several interviews, Sunita Ahuja asked fans to not believe the rumours. Now, she has once again spoken about the rumours of divorce.
In a interview with entertainment news portal Sunita Ahuja has once again shut down all the divorce rumours. She said that if that day comes, fans will get to hear about it through her or Govinda. She also added that Govinda can not live without her, neither can she live without him. Sunita Ahuja also added that Govinda won’t leave his family for any ‘stupid person or stupid woman’. That’s not all, she also challenged people to ask the question about divorce directly to her rather than simply believing the rumours. She said, “Afwaah, afwaah, afwaah, aap pehle pucho toh ki ye baat sahi hai. I will never accept it, aur kisi ka himmat hai toh mere samne aake pucho. Kisi ne afwaah uda diya toh aap haan me haan mila rahe ho, that is not right. Agar hoga toh I will be the first one to come in the media and speak about it. But I have belief ki mera ghar kabhi bhagwan nahi todega.”
Sunita Ahuja and Govinda tied the knot in 1987. They had kept their marriage a secret affair as it was reportedly adviced to Govinda that the news would affect his female fan following. Later the couple got blessed with two children – Tina Ahuja and Yashvardhan Ahuja. Their marriage witnessed many ups and downs, but stood the test of time. Govinda was last seen in Rangeela Raja.
