Director S.S. Rajamouli stated that the they didn’t create the entire character, but identified areas where the narratives could be expanded. It is not right to take this animated series as a prequel to Baahubali. It doesn’t tell a story of something that happened much before what we have seen in the part 1 and part 2 of the magnum opus. In fact, this is a chapter that occurs right in the middle of the film. Rajamouli said that they marked all the spaces where they saw an opportunity to divide the narrative and insert sequences or stories that can continue and constantly remind viewers of the known story.
