In a shocking update, singer Sonu Kakkar has severed all ties with her siblings Neha Kakkar and Tony Kakkar. Sonu took to her social media pages to share the news. The singer has not revealed any reason for making this decision. Her post on social media had received many reactions.
On her social media page X (formerly Twitter), Sonu Kakkar wrote, “Deeply devastated to inform you all that I am no longer a SISTER to the two talented Superstars, Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar. This decision of mine comes from a place of deep emotional pain, and I am truly disheartened today???.”
Hours after posting this tweet, Sonu Kakkar deleted the tweet. We wonder what went wrong and why she deleted the tweet in a short spa. So far, neither Neha Kakkar nor Tony Kakkar has reacted to the news.
Sonu’s decision to cut ties with her siblings comes a few days after composer-singer Amaal Mallik severed ties with his family. On social media, Amaal had posted, “I’ve reached a point where I can no longer keep silent about the pain I’ve endured. For years, I’ve been made to feel like I am less in spite of spending days and nights toiling away to make a safe life for people. Cancelled every dream of mine to only find myself to be spoke down to and question what I’ve ever done. I have spent my blood, sweat & tears to create each of the 126 melodies that have released over the last decade.”
“From now on, my interactions with my family will be strictly professional. This isn’t a decision made in anger, but one born from the necessity to heal and reclaim my life. I refuse to let the past rob me of my future any longer. I am committed to rebuilding my life, piece by piece, with honesty and strength,” Mallik wrote.
