Sonam Kapoor drops heartfelt anniversary wish for Anand Ahuja as they celebrate 6 years of togetherness; says ‘We live in heaven’

Marrying the right person is the utmost important step in your life, Sonam Kapoor chose a man 6 years ago and he is Anand Ahuja, and her every day is phenomenal. Today the actress celebrates 6 years of her marriage and drops a heartfelt anniversary wish for her husband. Sonam is madly and deeply in love with Anand and calls her marriage the best decision of her life. Sharing some unseen pictures and videos from her life with Anand, Sonam penned a long emotional post that reads, “To the love of my life. My everything , Happy Anniversary. Your unconditional love and support is my anchor and safe place. Getting married to you was the best decision of my life. We live in heaven. I love you more than I can express. #everydayphenomenal”. There was a time when Sonam Kapoor was not interested in marriage and relationship, and her friend who was super concerned about her fixed her date with Anand Ahuja’s friend. In one of the interviews with Filmfare Sonam had once,” My friends were trying to set me up with Anand’s best friend. That’s how I met him. The first time I met Anand was while I was busy with the promotions of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). One evening my friends conned me into visiting a bar at the Taj. I went there quite irritated”

Sonal added,” When I reached there, I realised my friends had called these two-three boys whom I had no interest in meeting. I was like, ‘I don’t want to date anybody. I don’t believe in marriage and all this nonsense’. I saw Anand and his friend. His friend was tall like me, liked reading like me and was a huge fan of Hindi movies. He was an educated and a nice guy.”

In the same interview, Sonam further revealed, that Anand was trying to be the third party and fill in for his friend but ended up having a conversation with her the entire evening and that’s how they clicked and later on started dating. Like they say, you find love in the least expected place.

Sonam and Anand are blessed with a boy Vayu Kapoor Ahuja.
