Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: When Rajan Shahi’s show took a generation leap last year, fans were extremely excited to welcome the new cast. Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Honmukhe, and Samridhii Shukla were roped in to play the leads. People liked the trio and hailed their performance. However, five months after the leap, Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe were asked to leave. They were later replaced by Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani. Throwback to when Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Honmukhe were asked to leave in front of everyone

Shehzada Dhami played the character of Armaan Poddar, while Pratiksha Honmukhe portrayed the role of Ruhi Poddar. Rajan Shahi mentioned that while Shehzada was unprofessional on various occasions and hence was asked to leave the show, Pratiksha was unable to perform well and was also getting wrongly influenced by Shehzada. Rumors were also rife that Shehzada and Pratiksha were dating each other, which was impacting professionalism on set. After giving many chances, the DKP team and Rajan Shahi decided that it was high time for the duo to leave the show. Rajan Shahi suddenly came on set and asked the cast and crew to gather in one place. When everyone gathered, Rajan stated that from now on, Shehzada and Pratiksha would not be a part of the show. While Shehzada didn’t wait for even a minute and stormed off the set, Pratiksha got a bit emotional and left the sets a few moments after Shehzada left.

While Rajan Shahi and the rest of the co-stars have been outspoken about their side of the story, Shehzada and Pratiksha have remained mum. On the work front, Shehzada is rumored to star in Bigg Boss OTT 3, while Pratiksha is rumored to star in Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye.
