Sanjay Leela Bhansali had a different original cast for Heeramandi?
While talking to Lilly Singh, Sanjay revealed that he wanted to cast Rekha, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Rani Mukerji in the lead roles for Heeramandi at first. That’s not it, he even thought of Pakistani stars Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Imran Abbas for the show. However, he changed plans altogether.
On the other hand, Shekhar Suman recently defended Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his tough taskmaster title. He shared that he has the right to get angry. Shekhar says SLB is not mad but a perfectionist and says that such people are always short-tempered. Shekhar gave examples of K Asif, Mehboob Khan and even Raj Kapoor.
Recently, Sonakshi Sinha shared that Sanjay changed the whole dance routine for Tilasmi Bahein and made it into a one-take song. Sonakshi was a bit nervous at first but once they started filming it was a blast. They took four takes and Sonakshi got a standing ovation by the end of the performance.
