Shah Rukh Khan attended the Next On Netflix event in Mumbai on Monday evening. The OTT platform hosted a star-studded event to announce the slate of web series and movies streaming on Netflix in 2025. Aryan Khan’s directorial debut has been one of the most anticipated projects and so the official announcement had to be special. And the title was revealed by none other than the superstar himself. Shah Rukh put the mystery to rest as he unveiled the title of Aryan’s maiden direction – The Ba***ds of Bollywood. The star also expressed his joy at interacting with the media after long and he took the opportunity to manifest a wish for his kids who are stepping into showbiz. He also called the association very special as it launches his son’s Bollywood career, is produced by wife Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh shares a great relationship with Netflix. Five of Red Chillies productions have streamed on the platform earlier. These include Bhakshak, Betaal, Darlings, Bard of Blood, Class of ‘83. And now, Aryan’s directorial, produced by Gauri Khan marks the sixth collaboration. “I am very happy that Aryan’s first show, first direction will be on Netflix,” he said. The event comes on a day when there are reports that Aryan will not be personally promoting his series. Will Shah Rukh Khan then step in to promote the same, like he did tonight? Well, we will have to wait and watch.
