Shah Rukh Khan celebrates 78th Independence Day with family; netizens urge him to speak about the Kolkata doctor rape-murder case
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently celebrated 78th Independence Day with his wife Gauri Khan and kids Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan. The handsome actor is back from Europe and on Thursday he was spotted hosting national flag at his mansion, in Mannat, Mumbai. He was photographed with his family and looked dashing in a white kurta. After hosting the flag, the actor treated his fans as he waved at them who had gathered outside his house. He climbed up the stairs and made their day as he waved to them. He was seen folding his hands to express gratitude and also have flying kisses to the fans.
Shah Rukh Khan‘s long hair look made females go weak in the knees. He wore sunglasses to complete his look. His wife Gauri and daughter Suhana were seen in white attire and his youngest son AbRam was also part of the celebration. The actor later took to social media as he wished his fans on Independence Day. He wrote, ‘Let’s celebrate our beautiful country India with pride in our hearts…. Happy Independence Day and love to all’. He shared a picture with his flag with the Indian flag in the background.

Netizens urged Shah Rukh Khan to speak up for the Kolkata rape case and also told him to seek justice. Well, recently Shah Rukh Khan was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at Locarno Film Festival 2024. The actor was the first Indian personality to be honoured with a lifetime achievement award – Pardo alla Carriera, or Career Leopard. Shah Rukh Khan has been trending in the entertainment news.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan has King wherein he will play the role of a gangster. He has also done voiceover for the Hindi version of Disney’s The Lion King which is scheduled to release on December 20. He is expected to begin work for YRF’s Tiger vs Pathaan.
