Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the TOP TV shows in the country. Rajan Shahi brought this epic TV show in 2009 and ever since, the show has seen a lot of changes, be it in the cast, scale, plot twists and more. Recently, Rajan ousted two of the lead actors of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe. They played the titular role alongside Samridhii Shukla. The actress has now opened up on shooting after Shehzada and Pratiksha were ousted.

Samridhii Shukla talks about Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe’s ouster from YRKKH
If you have been following Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, you would know that Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe were asked to leave by Rajan Shahi, the producer. It was a pile up of a lot of things, reports state. Samridhii Shukla has now reacted to the same. The actress admits that it was an overnight change but as an actress, they have to adapt and work with everyone. The actress says she works for the producer, the channel and the show and hence, they make decisions about pairing her with any celeb they want.
Samridhii Shukla says that her job as an actor and Abhira is about to create the same magic on-screen as before. She admits that it was challenging but adds not for long. She talks about Rohit Purohit having to step into the shoes of Armaan an already established character and also making it work. Samridhii is happy that things are working out well.

Samridhii Shukla on shooting with new cast after Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe’s exit
The actress was also asked about how she coping with suddenly shooting with a completely new cast after 5 months. Samridhii says she felt very new on set after that. She felt like it was her first day on the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The actress adds, “It is not a very good feeling. On day one there’s a lot of nervousness and I was like my maximum scenes were with Shehzada and Pratiksha.” Samridhii confesses she was worried about shooting with new actors, Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani. However, it was because she had no idea about their work approach or how they act and also the chemistry. But then she met them and found them to be lovely individuals. And her worries disappeared instantaneously. She understood that it would be a fun ride the moment she spoke to both of them. Samridhii shares that they have become like her friends on the sets now.
