Samridhii Shukla aka Abhira continues Hina Khan, Shivangi Joshi and Pranali Rathod’s Gangaur Puja tradition; fans say ‘legacy legacing’
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai serial updates: Samridhii Shukla joined the show about 6 months ago as Abhira Sharma, daughter of Akshara (Pranali Rathod) and Abhinav (Jay Soni). We saw the Poddars and the Goenkas being a part of the show, the ‘legacy’ as well. The TV serial is currently showing a love triangle between Armaan, Abhira and Ruhi. Armaan was in love with Ruhi but her alliance was fixed with Rohit, his brother. He sacrificed his love and under unforeseen circumstances, he had to marry Abhira. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai currently focuses on the post-married life of Abhira and Armaan. In the upcoming episode we will see Abhira joining the OG Akshara, Naira and Akshu with the tradition of Gangaur.

Samridhii Shukla plays Abhira. The Poddars are currently celebrating Gangaur Puja at home. Dadisa wants everything to go back to normal after the kidnapper attacked Ruhi and Abhira in Mussorie. Hence, she kept the Gangaur Ruja. Abhira, as wife of Armaan Poddar (Rohit Purohit), took part in the celebrations as well. She performed every ritual with enthusiasm and love.
Netizens took to their X (formerly Twitter) handles and gushed about how now the fourth generation of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai looks like a part of the legacy show which has been around for the last 15 years. Samridhii has joined Hina Khan who played the OG Akshara, Shivangi Joshi who played Naira and Pranali Rathod who played Akshara in the show as the female lead of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to carry forward the much loved traditions.
