As per reports, Salman Khan was offered the role of the main antagonist Kabir. But he rejected the offer due to unknown reasons. Later, the role was offered to Sanjay Dutt and he also rejected the role. Finally, it was John Abraham who was finalised to play Kabir in the film. Dhoom became a turning point in John’s career as he had some back to back flops. The role of Kabir gave him a lot of love from the audience.
