Nepotism has invariably been one of the most discussed and debated topic in the Hindi film industry. Outsiders often blame starkids for bagging great work opportunities simply because of their filmy backgrounds. Others rue about the fact that popular children of film industry bigwigs seem to get more roles than other talented actors. Whether it’s the Kapoors, Bachchans, or Khans, even the biggest names in Bollywood can’t deny the existence of nepotism. Recently, Salman Khan too acknowledged it.
A video has gone viral in which Salman Khan is launching nephew Ayaan Agnihotri’s song in Dubai. The event was hosted by Kris Fade. In the video, Fade is praising Salman and the Khan family for showing love and support to Ayaan. To his, the superstar responded, “That’s what nepotism is!” Hearing Salman’s response, everyone started laughing.
The video is being discussed on Reddit platform and people are also making jokes. One person commented, “bhoi has insane contacts in the middle east even more than srk i think.” Another wrote, “Sallu is a big shot in the middle East I saw him in 2016 in movlogs first promoting money kicks father’s new business.” One more person commented, “Salman is also a product of nepotism.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in action-packed Sikandar this year. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles. It will hit theatres during Eid next month. The superstar will then start working with Sajid Nadiadwala for Kick 2. It is a sequel to his 2014 blockbuster titled Kick.
Going by the recent report by Bollywood Hungama, Salman and filmmaker Atlee’s next has been put on hold due to issues regarding actors being roped in for the project. Reportedly, the production house – Sun Pictures, asked Atlee to rework the project after he couldn’t get Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan on board.
