Friendships in Bollywood are quite fragile. There are many stories of Bollywood friends turning foes and vice versa. We all remember the rivalry once shared by Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. But bygones are bygones, and they are now best pals. So here’s about an actress who was very good friends with Saif Ali Khan and his ex-wife Amrita Singh. In fact, they were neighbours. But one tragic incident changed everything. She stopped talking to Saif Ali Khan and even changed home.
The actress is none other than Sheeba Akashdeep. In a recent interview with entertainment news portal Pinkvilla, Sheeba Akashdeep revealed the reason behind her broken friendship with Saif and Amrita. She shared screen space with Amrita Singh in the movie Suryavanshi that starred Salman Khan as the lead hero. Sheeba and Saif featured together in the movie Sanam Teri Kasam.
In the interview, Sheeba revealed that they were neighbours as they lived in the same bungalow complex. It so happened that Saif Ali Khan’s dog accidentally killed her dog. She added that the incident broke her heart. After that day, she completely stopped talking to him. Sheeba added, “A couple of times after that, when he (Saif Ali Khan) met, he told my husband, ‘kya wo kabhi forgive nahi karegi kya?’” (After that day, I completely stopped talking. My heart broke so much, and you are also very volatile at that time. A couple of times after that, when he met my husband, he asked, ‘Will she never forgive me?’).”
Sheeba further shared that she was completely shattered and she even sold her house. She left the complex immediately and walked off overnight. Sheeba said that her favourite dog was killed and she could not live there anymore.
In the same interview, Sheeba also confirmed that she was once dating Akshay Kumar. She said, “When you are young and working in close proximity, ho jaata hai ishq (you fall in love).”
