One of the prominent actors who is no longer a part of the Rajan Shah show is actress Ashlesha Savant, who used to portray the character of Anuj’s sister-in-law, Barkha. Although Ashlesha is no longer a part of the show, time and again she is remembered for her portrayal of the grey character. Talking about her personal life, Ashlesha is dating television actor Sandeep Baswana for more than two decades. While their ardent fans wonder why the couple hasn’t got married yet, in a recent interview both Ashlesha and Sandeep opened up about the possibility of marrying in the future. Ashlesha Savant to marry long time boyfriend Sandeep Baswana? The couple reacts

In an interview with TOI, Ashlesha Savant and Sandeep Baswana revealed that marriage was never on their radar; being happy and peaceful in each other’s presence is their goal. Ashlesha stated that a big fat Indian wedding or wearing a mangalsutra doesn’t excite her. However, her parents want her to get married to Sandeep, and because of their happiness, she might one day tie the knot with the actor. She further stated that her parents are extremely happy with her and Sandeep’s relationship, so if tying the knot can make them happy, it’s not a big thing. In the same interview, Sandeep shed light on their love story. He stated that he met Ashlesha for the first time on the sets of Ekta Kapoor’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. As Ashlesha used to stay far away from the set, she sometimes used to live in Sandeep’s house, which was nearby to the sets. The frequent stays turned into a forever thing, and today the couple is together for almost 22 years. Both Sandeep and Ashlesha stated that even after so many years, they don’t take each other for granted and are extremely happy and content with the way their relationship is going.
