Salman Khan reveals shocking secrets of his time in jail on nephew Arhaan Khan's podcast: 'Aur kuch wahan karne ko…'

Salman Khan is popular for being both straightforward and candid in his conversations. The star has never shown any qualms in expressing his thoughts and has been honest about his opinions. When Salman Khan is in the room, one can expect light-hearted but thought-provoking discussions. Ahead of the release of his much-awaited film Sikandar, Salman Khan made his debut on a podcast. He appeared on nephew Arhaan Khan’s podcast Dumb Biryani which he co-hosts with a couple of his friends. Salman Khan shared personal stories from his life and the lessons he has learned over the years. He also recalled the time spent in jail.
During the chat with Arhaan Khan and his friends, Salman Khan explained the reason why one must not lose faith and enthusiasm in doing challenging jobs in order to succeed in life. He laid stress on the importance of not making excuses and warning that doing so could turn one into a “much older version” of themselves. He also added that he barely sleeps. In the podcast, Salman also mentioned that sleeps for about an hour and a half in the day and sleeps only when there is nothing to do. “I can only sleep when I don’t have anything else to do. So, I slept nicely when I was in jail. I sleep when there is turbulence in an aircraft because there is nothing I can do in such a situation,” he said. Salman Khan advised the young hosts to invest more efforts in their work, family and friends.
“You can take absolute responsibility for your failures, but success is never just yours. If you allow it to get to your head, you will get messed up, for sure,” he added.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan is busy with his next big release, Sikandar. Sikandar also stars Rashmika Mandanna in a key role. Sikandar is helmed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
His last release Tiger 3 did average business at the box office. However, the hopes are high from Sikandar.
