Rakul Preet Singh’s brother gets arrested in Hyderabad for alleged drug possession, tests positive for consumption
Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh’s brother, Aman Preet Singh recently got arrested by Hyderabad Police in a drug case. As per a report by the Hindustan Times, he got arrested after a joint operation by the Narcotics Bureau and Rajendra Nagar SOT Police. The entire arrest was carried out under the Cyberabad Police’s jurisdiction.

Moreover, the cops even confirmed Aman’s arrest in a press meet held on Monday, July 15 and revealed that more than five people were arrested in a case for drug peddling. The Hyderabad police informed that Rakul’s brother Aman was among the other 13 people who got arrested for consuming the drugs and testing positive for using cocaine. The cops said that he will soon be produced in court.
During the press meet, a police official that he would only comment on whom Aman is connected to once they investigate the case more. He even added that they would need to check when his association began with the accused, who consisted of some Indians and Nigerians. He even said that some of the arrested people are repeat offenders. He even said that it might be for a year and a half. Aman tested positive for using cocaine. The cop even said that Aman confirmed that he’s an actor, but did not say if it’s on Tollywood or elsewhere.
He further added that 13 consumers from Hyderabad have been identified who are wealthy are blatantly promoting a sick ecosystem of drugs in Telangana. He even said that they all are creating a network of supply and demand for drugs in Hyderabad. He said that out of 13 arrested, 6 were apprehended and all the 6 persons got positive reports for cocaine when their urine samples were tested.
Earlier, Rakul was also summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in an alleged money laundering case that was connected to a drugs case. Later, it was clarified that she had nothing to do with the case and they were not investigating her. As per the police officials, their team seized 199 grams of cocaine, 2 passports, 2 bikes and 10 cell phones during the drug bust. The drug peddlers were identified as Onuoha Blessing, Azeez Nohaam Adeshola, Alla Satya Venkata Gowtham, Sanaboina Varun Kumar and Mohd Mahaboob Shareef. While Divine Ebuka Suzee and Ezeonyili Franklin Uchenna escaped.
