Shraddha Kapoor to jump into a time travel adventure after the horror thrills with Stree 2? Deets inside

Shraddha Kapoor is busy with the promotions for her upcoming horror comedy, Stree 2. It’s a sequel to her 2018 superhit film, Stree. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film also stars Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. So far, three songs from the movie have been released, and the audience has given an amazing response. People have waited six years for the sequel and can’t wait to see what the makers have in store for them. In her career of over a decade, Shraddha Kapoor has been a part of several interesting movies. She has done tragic romance, romantic comedy, action and dance films, and also horror. Soon, the actress is going to foray into the world of time travel. As per the reports, Kapoor’s next film is going to deal with the subject of time travel, and not much is revealed about the plot or star cast. The report by India TV also mentions that Shraddha Kapoor will also be seen in the role of a separatist in the film titled Naagin. The supernatural drama will be helmed by Nikhil Dwivedi. Just like the time travel film, there is no information available about the cast or the premise.

The actress was last seen in Luv Ranjan’s romantic comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (2023). The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. Talking about Stree 2, it will hit theatres on August 15, 2024. During the trailer launch, the makers confirmed that they have plans for the third installment, thus confirming Stree 3.

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s horror comedy will clash with Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa. KKM stars Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Seal, and Ammy Virk. On the other hand, the Veda features John Abraham and Sharvari. Reportedly, Akshay will have a cameo in Stree 2.
