Poddars shocked as a shattered Abhira refuses to marry Armaan; Ruhi feels victorious

They were going to marry but Abhira’s medical report suggested that she cannot get pregnant, thus breaking Armaan’s dream of becoming a father. In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see Vidya exposing Abhira’s (Samridhii Shukla) medical report and leaving everyone shocked. She calls off Armaan (Rohit Purohit) and Abhira’s wedding stating that they won’t be able to carry forward the Poddar legacy due to Abhira’s inability to conceive. Further, she also asks Armaan whether he would like to adopt a baby and give him the same kind of treatment that he received. In all of this, Abhira is completely shocked. Sanjay Bansal jumps in and begins taunting Abhira. He goes on to say that she is an orphan and a problem for Poddar family. Kaveri also asks Armaan about his dreams and whether he is willing to give up all for Abhira. Manish Goenka then takes Abhira away from Poddar house. In the new precap doing the rounds of the entertainment news, we see Abhira locked in a room and crying. She states that she doesn’t deserve family love or any happiness. Armaan, on the other hand, is quite restless and wants to talk to Abhira. He video calls her saying that they should meet and sort out everything. Abhira states that there is nothing to discuss. Armaan then questions her about their upcoming wedding. Abhira refuses to marry him as she feels that he will have to give up on his dream for her. Later, Armaan asks everyone to stop the wedding preparation as Abhira has refused to tie the knot. Vidya, Kaveri and others are shocked by Abhira’s decision but there is a smirk on Ruhi’s face. She feels victorious as her evil plans worked. She is in love with Armaan and wants to marry him at any cost.
