Part 1 runtime, check out the actor’s reaction

The trailer of Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor’s Devara: Part 1 was released on Tuesday in Mumbai. It is one of the biggest releases of 2024. The makers have opted for an interesting way to promote the pan-India Telugu action drama. Earlier, we saw Alia Bhatt and Jr. NTR teasing a conversation with Karan Johar. However, the cast also sat down and spoke to Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. As our entertainment news readers know, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is a popular Telugu director. He’s also good friends with Devara director Koratala Siva. In a video shared by the movie’s team, we see Sandeep in a conversation with Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor. The Arjun Reddy director asks Saif to say a dialogue from any of his movies. Khan laughs and says that he knew he would be asked that question. The filmmaker is in awe of the movie’s VFX and cinematography. Further, Janhvi Kapoor teases how Sandeep Reddy Vanga wants to know the entire story. However, here comes the interesting part. The Animal director asks Jr. NTR about his movie Devara: Part 1. The RRR actor gives an unexpected response. NTR asks him, “What’s the runtime of Animal, sir? 3:15?” To this, the director answers that the runtime of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer was 3 hours, 24 minutes. Everyone laughs hearing the same. Meanwhile, in Devara, Jr., NTR will be seen in a dual role of a father and son. Saif Ali Khan plays the role of villain Bhaira. During the trailer launch, Tarak revealed that he is nervous about the movie as, after six years, he is having a solo theatrical release. NTR’s last blockbuster, RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, also featured Ram Charan in the lead role.

Last month, the Tollywood star shared a photo with director Koratala Siva after the film’s last schedule was wrapped. He wrote, “Just wrapped my final shot for #Devara Part 1. What a wonderful journey it has been. I will miss the ocean of love and the incredible team. I can’t wait for everyone to sail into the world crafted by Siva on the 27th of September.”

The movie is slated to hit theatres on September 27, 2024. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions will be distributing the Hindi rights of the action drama in the northern region.
