A few years ago, Paresh Rawal slammed Ranveer Singh’s performance in one of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movies. No, it’s not Ram or Bajirao; it’s Khilji from Padmaavat. A video in which the Hera Pheri actor criticised Ranveer is going viral on Reddit. In the video, about Ranveer’s Khilji, Paresh said, Agar aap aisa karte ho na bhaiya, toh ye galat tarika hai. Aapke andar saakshi bhaav hona chahiye. Accha, mujhe ek baat bataiye, aap jitna bhi daaru pee lo, maa ya biwi ke palang pe jaake hi so jaate ho. Woh saakshi bhaav hai na? In the comments of the video, a Redditor wrote, “I think RS over exaggerated his process for PR, he was called out by Jim Sarbh too. That aside, this interview host has some beef with RS. He has asked this question about ranveer to several of his guests and got him trolled for it.” One more user commented, “As much as I admire him, he is wrong because that’s not his method. Heath ledger is one example and Vikram from the Tamil industry is another example. People have their own methods to do the best possible performance . Hrithik roshan has once said he locked himself in a room for many days to understand the role and character and all that. On the contrary the great mohanlal acts so well between action and cut and goofs around on the set other times.”
