Opens the Rs 600 crore club; now just inches away from breaking Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan record
Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 is ruling the box office. The film has released on August 15 and has been ruling hearts. Everyone was waiting for this film since a long and now it is setting the box office on fire. Fans and critics both have showered love and feel that the second one is even better than the first one. It has been five weeks since the film is ruling the box office. It has collected Rs 564 crores in five weeks. The sixth weekend was again a big hit for the film. As per early estimates by Sacnilk, it collected around Rs 13.5 crores.
Stree 2 creates new record
Hence now, the overall total of the film is Rs 577.50 crores. This makes Stree 2 the only second film to cross the Rs 550 crore mark. The first place is held by Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. Stree 2 just needs rs 4.81 crores to be the biggest Hindi film of all time. The film is creating waves in Entertainment News
Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan had collected Rs 582.31 crores. Now, Stree 2 is really close to Jawan’s numbers and will break its record in just few days.
However, if we talk about the list of Indian Cinema’s biggest hit, Stree 2 grabs the sixth position. The films before it are Jawan, Kalki 2898 AD, RRR, KGF 2 and Baahubali 2.

If Shraddha Kapoor’s film has to take up Jawan’s fifth place, it has to get more than Rs 640.25 crores at the Box Office. Stree 2 also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and others. The film had some special appearances by Akshay Kumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Varun Dhawan. The makers of the film also confirmed that Stree 3 will happen soon. They are already ready with the story.
