As per the reports Arnold Schwarzenegger was the one who Shankar wanted as the crow man. In fact, discussions also took place with the Terminator star. However, he did not sign the dotted lines. As per reports, Arnold expected contract and working style on par with Hollywood standards. The team of 2.0 couldn’t match to the expectations and hence, Arnold could not come onboard 2.0. As reported by the entertainment news section of Times of India, director Shankar revealed that the contracts of India and Hollywood are contradictory and hence the team decided to find an Indian actor who could be the villain. Talking about how Akshay Kumar came onboard 2.0, S Shankar revealed that the production house Lyca was already in talks with the Bollywood actor for the movie Kathi and the team suggested him to consider the Housefull star to be the villain. All fell in place and Akshay Kumar became the crow man in Rajinikanth’s 2.0. Reportedly, he was quite accommodating and cooperative as the makers struggled with the project. Fans were thrilled to see Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar sharing the screen and his casting did became the highlight of the movie.
