Well, the debut episode of Hafta Vasooli started premiere on February 14 featuring Sharib Hashmi and Vivian Dsena as guests. The second episode featured Saqib Saleem who joined the panel. Well, this controversy of Munawar comes at a time when comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent is also in the news. Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps had asked an inappropriate question to a contestant which read, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex for the rest of your life, or would you join in once and stop it forever?”
Within no time, the shocking remark led to widespread backlash and multiple FIRs against Ranveer have been filed. In 2021, Munawar and four other stand-up comedians were arrested on January 2 for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. They were granted bail after spending 35 days in jail.
