Bhavika Sharma is back in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. She is now seen as ACP Savi Thakkar. Abhishek Singh – who is also a part of the show – has opened up about the rise in TRPs after the big change in storyline.
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has grabbed attention. The serial has been in the news ever since the big twist has taken place. We have all seen Param Singh, Vaibhavi Hankare and Sanam Johar as Neil, Tejaswini and Ruturaj. But due to the low TRPs of the show, the makers decided to change the storyline of the show. Vaibhavi aka Tejaswini was shown dead. After her exit, Bhavika Sharma made a re-entry in the show. She is now an IPS officer. Everyone has loved Bhavika opposite Hitesh Bharadwaj in the previous story. Along with Teju, Rajat’s death was also shown.
Savi was investigating the case and during this time, she met Neil who was going through the same pain. Savi and Neil were shocked when the news reports said that Rajat and Tejaswini were found dead together because they were having an affair. However, Neil and Savi decide to find out the truth. They are both busy trying to wash off all the dirty allegations put on their partners.
Abhishek Singh on Bhavika’s re-entry
The new storyline worked well and we saw Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin getting back to the top five. Bengali actor Abhishek Singh is also a part of the new story. He plays the senior to ACP Savi Thakkar. It is a negative role and Abhishek has now opened up about his experience working for the show.
He spoke to Filmibeat and said that he is still new on the set and because he is an introvert, he is taking time to open up. He finds it amazing to watch the seasoned cast perform and everyone is chilled out on the sets. He further spoke about how the TRP numbers have grown after Bhavika’s re-entry. This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.
He said, “It’s always a great feeling when your work is appreciated. Bhavika Sharma’s return has been a treat for fans. I play the hurdle in her journey, and I’m putting forth my nastiest version! I think the good vs bad dynamic is striking the right chord with viewers.”
