Mukesh Chhabra lashes out at actors desperate to make contacts by attending funerals; ‘It’s frustrating to see people speak in such situations’

Mukesh Chhabra is one of the most significant casting directors in Bollywood, he has made careers of many actors over the years. In his latest interview, Mukesh Chhabra lashed out at the actors who are desperate to make contacts and attend funerals for the same, when they say one can get work opportunities at any place, but definitely, someone’s funeral cannot be your opportunity, Period. Mukesh Chhabra reveals how recently at the funeral of a senior member of Bollywood few actors attended it to speak to people for work,” One senior actor passed away. At the funeral, a lot of actors were present. Later he lashed out at these actors and mentioned how it gets frustrating to see them speak in such situations,” If you have learnt the craft, you are working hard, then I respect that. You have not taken any training, you have not learned anything and you are trying to come directly, that too in such situations. It’s frustrating to hear people speak in such situations, where they are not considering the reality of the world and their own situation.”

Mukesh continued expressing his anger over the dead and revealed that how he tells struggling actors to spare these situations and the least they can do is be respectful. Recently in his interview with Indian Express Mukesh had said that how today’s generation is different from the actors who have managed to make it on their own,” This generation is very different. They focus more on social media rather than their craft. I have seen Rajkummar Rao struggling, I have seen Vicky Kaushal work hard. Today’s youngsters talk about making reels, brag about their Instagram followers list”.
