Daya and Shreya’s reunion receives mixed response; fans say ‘Makers should at least clarify…’

While Parth Samthaan has marked his exit from CID 2, Janhvi Chedda has returned to the show as Shreya. Fans are thrilled over her reunion with Daya.

The second season of the longest running show – CID – has left fans hooked. Though initially the show struggled to match up with the hype of its first season, soon it caught up pace with many twists and turns. CID 2 brought many shockers including the death of ACP Pradyuman. Parth Samthaan entered the show as ACP Ayushman. However, makers once again brought in a twist. ACP Pradyuman is back and ACP Ayushman has marked his exit. Amid all of this, Inspector Shreya played Janvi Chheda also marked her entry into CID 2.

In a recent episode of CID 2, fans got to see Shreya entering the bureau office along with her daughter. Everyone is shocked to see her including Daya played by Dayanand Shetty. For the unversed, in the first season of CID, Daya and Shreya were romantically involved. Thus, her return has left everyone shocked and happy at the same time. ACP Pradyuman asks Daya to spend time with Shreya and daughter. Those Janvi Chedda aka Shreya appeared only for a few minutes in a episode, her entry has led to major discussion online. Fans are happy and nostalgic over Shreya and Daya’s reunion. But also have many questions from the makers.

One of the fans commented, “ACP Sir asked Daya to spend some time with shreya & Mihika. Makers should atleast clarify if Shreya will join #CID or not & also what abt her husband?We r literally clueless abt him.” Another one wrote, “Dear makers, We want dareya ,we want Shreya as a cop , we want to see her permanently in cid 2 .
